About Ashley

Hi, I’m Ashley and I’m thrilled to welcome you to Sorrenteaux Boards!

I’m the gal behind the boards, a wife and mom of four, a California transplant, and a food artist & charcuterista.  I fell in love with the incredible city of New Orleans on my first visit over a decade ago. My husband attended Tulane and culinary school here in the early 2000's and brought me out to visit once a year while we were dating. If you live in, or if you've ever been to New Orleans, you know that there's no place else that celebrates life as much as this beautiful city, and I always dreamed of being a part of that. We moved our little family to NOLA in 2022 and are beyond excited to open up our flagship store in Lakeview.

first began my Instagram page as a place to find inspiration and share pictures of the charcuterie boards I was making for family and friends. What began as a hobby quickly transformed into a passion that has now become my own brand, Sorrenteaux, and I have been feeding bellies and imaginations ever since.

Sorrenteaux is dedicated to highlighting life's celebrations, spreading joy through food art, and bringing community and loved ones together while sharing a charcuterie board.

I’m humbled by the opportunities that have come my way including partnerships with national and international companies, food styling for a major studio, features in print, on social media platforms, and more. Never in my wildest dreams could I have imagined that this cheesy hobby would transform into a career! It has been one of the greatest joys in my life to share food and community through Sorrenteaux over the years, and I'm thrilled about now opening our very own storefront.

It is my vision and hope to share in the spirit of "Laissez Les Bon Temps Rouler" on each and every Sorrenteaux Board.

The name "Sorrenteaux" pays homage to the two places where I discovered my love of feeding bellies and imaginations. Park Sorrento is the street where my grandparents' restaurant stood for over 30 years. It was there that I learned that every great social event must have delicious food, true hospitality, and cheese! It is simultaneously a reflection of my deep reverence and love for the beautiful city of New Orleans, where life is truly celebrated in every way, especially in the preparation and sharing of food with one's loved ones and their community.

As a dear friend once said, "If you go over to Zach and Ashley's, you know you're going to eat something rich and delicious." That carries over into the food I create now, and I look forward to sharing that same richness with all of you.
